KOMPAS.com - Konser jazz tahunan khas Yogyakarta, Ngayogjazz 2011 digelar, Sabtu (12/11/2011) mendatang di Kota Gede, Yogyakarta.

Kali ini Ngayogjazz mengambil tema khusus "Nandoer Jazzing Pakarti". Dengan tema unik tersebut, wahana ekspresi musik jazz ini diharapkan menjadi tempat persemaian pemusik-pemusik jazz muda.

Konser jazz Ngayogjazz 2011 ini merupakan konser kelima yang akan digelar di Yogyakarta. Sebelumnya, selama empat kali berturut-turut, tahun 2007, 2008, 2009, dan tahun 2010 konser serupa pernah diselenggarakan para pecinta komunitas jazz di kota ini.

"Selama ini artis-artis yang main jazz hanya itu-itu saja. Karena itu, tahun ini kami sengaja mengambil tema Nandoer Jazzing Pakarti dengan maksud agar tumbuh pemain-pemain jazz baru," kata seniman Yogyakarta Djaduk Ferianto, Rabu (9/11/2011) di Yogyakarta.

Ngayogyes 2011berlangsung akhir pekan ini,Sabtu (12/)11) dengan enam panggung. Karena mengutamakan pemusik muda atau baru,maka sekitar 90 persen konser akan menampilkan para penyanyi dan pemusik jazz muda.

Girls Decide films have been nominated for two awards of the IVCA Clarion Awards - Europe :)

woooooooaaa I'm so happy this morning ! I got an email from my friend from London, katie. actually this email have sent five days ago, but I'm just checked my email this morning, and taraaa I found an amazing news from her. she is thrilled to let me know that the Girls Decide films have been nominated for two awards as part of the IVCA Clarion Awards - Europe's biggest awards for communications on the subjects of Corporate Social Responsibility, diversity, sustainability, community development, ethical, health and welfare issues . http://www.ivca.org/award-schemes/clarion-awards.html

that is so amazing, I never imagine before that the film will get a large amount appreciation  from a whole Europe  . The suite of Girls Decide films were nominated in two categories:

1.        Best video: public sector communication

2.       Best video: charity and social enterprise
